At the end of the season, after failing to making the postseason, head coach Guillermo Barros Schelotto was fired, best soccer jerseys and replaced with Dominic Kinnear as interim manager. On January 5, the Galaxy announced Greg Vanney as the new manager. The Galaxy also added a number of players, notably Uruguayan Diego Polenta, Argentine World Cup veteran Cristian Pavón, best soccer training jersey fellow Argentine Favio Álvarez and Mexican Uriel Antuna. He is currently the head coach of Major League Soccer club Chicago Fire.
